Bay Education Center
Located at 121 Seabreeze Drive in Rockport, the Bay Education Center operates as a free visitor hub managed by the University of Texas at Austin's Marine Science Institute for the Mission-Aransas Reserve. Visitors can explore Tuesday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The center showcases exhibits focusing on estuaries and hosts the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Science on a Sphere—an interactive globe displaying Earth science and environmental information, with presentations held daily at 2 p.m. Educational programming is available for K-12 students and homeschool groups, offering interactive opportunities to learn about the region's coastal ecosystems and marine environment.
